Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.  This meme was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish.  We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new top ten list complete with one of our bloggers' answers.  Everyone is welcome to join.  All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND post a comment on our post with a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post to share with us and all those who are participating.  If you don't have a blog, just post your answers in the comments.

TOP TEN BOOKS I WISH I COULD RE-READ AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME

There's really only one series I feel this way about, and I think you all know what that is.

The Harry Potter series was a huge part of my childhood.  The first book came out when I was 11 years old, and it completely changed my life forever.  I have always been a bit of a loner and I knew I could always look to Harry, Ron, and Hermione for company whenever I was being picked on or feeling sad.  I also found a whole group of new friends that spanned the whole world.  No story has ever had such an impact on my life; it is amazing, beautiful, touching, and truly magical.

  1. I think that Harry Potter made the majority of tonight's lists. Who wouldn't want to experience such a wonderful series again from start to finish? :)

  3. When I read Harry Potter for the first time, I was 11 too! So you can say, I grew up along with them. I'd definitely love to re-live that! Kind of makes you wish you had a Time-turner, doesn't it? :)
